Traslanzas is a wine of great character and presents a good depth of colour; an intense cherry-red that affords vibrancy to the wine.

The elegant aromas are potent and complex. An initial hint of violets is followed by the aromas more often associated with “Tempranillo” such as black fruits and liquorice.  Due to the time spent in oak barrels the wine is enhanced by a touch of smokiness attained from the aromatic wood.

In the mouth the wine has good body and expression.  Sweet tannins from the grape skins contribute to a lasting aromatic finish.
